Description
A WHITE-GLAZED JAR AND COVER
Tang Dynasty
Of baluster form with gently rounded shoulders and an everted rim, the domed cover surmounted by a bud-form final, covered overall in a whitish glaze with a pale greenish tinge in places.
25.5cm (10in) high (2).

Condition
There is a 10x6mm shallow chip to the edge of the base. There is some chipping to the glaze around the rim, and also to the body. There is wear to the surface of the glaze and firing flaws over the body and the cover.
