A pair of Chinese famille rose moonflasks

19th century

Each with circular register filled with figures in procession to one side and floral and bird motifs to the reverse. Each with six-character mark to underside. (2).

H: 9, W: 6 3/4 in. (H: 22.86, W: 17.15 cm. (each))

Provenance: Private collection, Powder Springs, Georgia.

One with crack to rim; other with firing defect to rim and loss to handle; both with overpainting, repair, and chipping to handles.
