Description
Russian bisque porcelain figurine of Obdor Ostyak woman (????????? ???????). The figure depicts a standing woman dressed in national clothes. Marked on the bottom with a red "Porcelain Factory in Verbilki" stamp.
From the "Nations of Russia" series was produced by Gardner Porcelain Factory in the 1870s. The figures in the series were modeled after Gustave Theodor Pauly's (1817-1867) color lithographs published as an album under the title "Les peuples de la Russie".
Ca. 1916.

The figure is in perfect condition considering the age and medium.
