Description
MARIE-LOUISE OF AUSTRIA [Second Wife of Napoleon, (1791-1847)]. Document Signed. Tuilieries, “le quinzieme jour du mois de December de l’an de grace mil huit cent onze” (December, 15, 1811). Vellum document signed by the Empress near the lower right portion and countersigned by Napoleon’s half-uncle, Cardinal Joseph Fesch (1769-1839). Printed document on vellum, approximately 11 x 15”. Some toning, vertical and horizontal folds. This document names Madame Dessain de Chevriers as a Dame de la Societe de la Charite maternelle.
