Item Details
Description
A 1950s Otwin Harmonie archtop guitar, no serial, sunburst finish. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist. Part of a larger collection of archtop guitars which Randy has collected over a period of 30-plus years.
Randy calls this one “a spinoff Roger” which aligns with the very Roger-like body shape. The Harmonie branding implies Aton Lorbeer construction out of the Musima factory.
A maple neck with a bound headstock and six white-button tuners, a white-black-white nut and zero fret, with a bound 21-fret roswood fretboard with block inlays. The body has a carved spruce top, bound f-holes, maple back and sides, faux shell pickguard, with multi-ply binding throughout. Adjustable rosewood bridge, harp-style tailpiece.
Includes padded black soft-shell case.
