A c.1960s Hoyer Solist archtop guitar, no serial number, split sunburst finish. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist. Part of his impressive collection of German archtop guitars.
A maple neck with Hoyer Solist branding and three mother of pearl bars on the bound headstock face, six white button tuners, zero fret, all with a bound 21-fret rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl inlays. Carved spruce top with split sunburst finish, multi-ply binding, figured maple back and sides, and two f-holes. Harp tailpiece and adjustable Hoyer bridge with red and white saddles.
Includes TKL Soft-shell case.
