Luigi Cagliani was a Listed Italian Impressionist who worked in Italy and France in the first half of the 20th century. Italian sources note that he was active in Lombardy, which helps explain his penchant for lakeside Parisian scenes. He also loved to paint scenes set in Venice. With a "delicate and moving" in a romantic, almost 19th Century sense, Luigi Cagliani presents a whimsical oil painting depicting Women by a Carousel Scene in Paris, France.
