Needlework sampler dated 1834 likely stitched by 16-year-old Martha M. Walton from Montgomery, PA who was the daughter of Julian and John Walton. Silk on linen; 31” x 30” framed. There is some toning to the background linen but the colors are strong, no thread loss, or holes. The overall condition is very good.
