This piece is made of Yumu or Northern Elm Wood. It was originally used in a bedroom in Shanxi China to store personal belongings. It would still work as a beautiful nightstand or side table in your space.
This piece comes with a certificate of authenticity dating the piece back to 1870-1890 Shanxi, China.
