A pair of carved wooden fertility figures from the Senufo people, depicting male and female forms symbolizing fertility and continuity. Each figure features an elaborate headdress and displays characteristic West African stylistic qualities. Finished with a rich, dark wood patina and traditionally used by diviners for their symbolic significance. One figure measures approximately 20″ H x 4″ W x 3″ D. Shows small areas of loss and one repair to the base. Overall in age-appropriate condition consistent with ritual use.
