Composite Halfstock Percussion Rifle

.34 caliber. 36.75" pinned octagonal barrel. NSN. Bright barrel, brass furniture, hardwood stock with lead forend cap. Single shot percussion muzzleloading rifle with fixed notch rear sigh and dovetailed blade front sight, double set triggers and modern wooden ramrod. Rifle appears to have been restocked in the 20th century, somewhat crudely using older metal parts, possibly form multiple firearms. {ANTIQUE}

Fair. Bore good, moderately oxidized with decent rifling. Barrel oxidized with scattered patches of discoloration and minor surface rust. Mechanically functional lock. Wood worn, refinished, an apparent somewhat crude replacement stock using older parts, with scattered bumps, dings and mars.
