.50 caliber. 22.125" barrel. SN: 15870. No finish, iron furniture, walnut stock. Single shot percussion breechloading carbine with iron patchbox, military leaf rear sight, fixed front sight and saddle bar with ring. Standard Gallager markings, no visible cartouches. {ANTIQUE}

Condition
Fair to Good. Fair bore is oxidized and pitted with visible rifling. Metal with no finish, moderately oxidized and showing some scattered pitting and surface roughness. Markings on lock remain legible. Mechanically functional lock. Wood with moderate wear, some wood loss on the reverse at the frame junction and numerous scattered bumps, dings and mars with some deeper marks in the stock comb.
