.32 S&W Short. 6" barrel. SN: 25827 (mfg. ca. 1864). Blued finish worn down to mottled gray to brown patina with varnished rosewood grips, German Silver escutcheons, and German Silver front sight blade. Single action six-shot tip up revolver featuring an octagonal barrel. Barrel address reads SMITH & WESSON, SPRINGFIELD, MASS. with standard single line patent mark to cylinder. Ejector rod is replaced and lacks securing screw. Serial number matches on right grip panel with frame and barrel showing assembly mark BB6. {ANTIQUE}

Condition
Good. Bore is Frosty with some pitting and strong rifling throughout. Metal finish shows a mottled gray to brown patina overall with some scattered light pitting. Both grip panels show cracks that have been repaired, and have been sanded and revarnished. Ejector rod is replaced and lacks securing screw. Action functional with substantial wobble to barrel.
