7.92mm. 29.1" barrel. 8998. Heavily oxidized metal, iron furniture, European hardwood stock. Bolt action fixed magazine repeating rifle with military ladder rear sight, fixed front sight blade, bayonet lug on upper barrel band, sling swivel on lower barrel band. Missing lower swivel and cleaning rod. Mismatched numbers, most markings illegible due to thick oxidation and patina. {ANTIQUE}

Poor to Fair. Dark, rusted bore with traces of rifling. Metal with a thick brown attic patina, moderate amounts of surface roughness and scattered pitting. Most markings illegible. Missing the barrel band spring. Mechanically functional action. Wood well worn, with numerous scattered bumps, dings and mars, some chipped and cracked damage around the stock bolt on the obverse.
