
**Last Ditch Nagoya Type 99 Arisaka Rifle with Ground Mum
World War II
7.7x58mm. 25.9" barrel length. SN: 54430. Browned metal finish with wood semi-pistol grip stock mounting spliced toe, wood buttplate, and Last Ditch features. Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with stripper clips. Item features the fixed rear aperture and front Barleycorn Last Ditch pattern iron sights, with all metal parts displaying a rough finish. Item further shows a cylindrical bolt knob and non knurled cocking piece. Left receiver with Nagoya Arsenal stamp with the Imperial Japanese Chrysanthemum ground off. Stock has been sanded. {C&R}

Condition
Good. Bore is Very Bright with crisp Metford pattern rifling throughout. Item shows some dust and grease residues overall with some patina and signs of pitting over magazine floorplate, and further patinated spots on the edges of the metal parts. Internal cycling wear to bolt. Stock has been sanded with buttplate fitting proud and shows scattered dents and mars.
