World War Two U.S. Navy VB-2 squadron patch. The patch is painted on canvas. Measures 3" x3".Established as Bombing Squadron 5B in 1934 and redesignated Bombing Squadron Two (VB-2) on July 1, 1937. Disestablished July 1, 1942 and Re-activated as Bombing Squadron Eleven (VB-11) on October 10, 1942. The insignia was originally approved by BuAer in 1934. The insignia was transferred to VB-11 and approved on September 17, 1942.
