(1885 - 1960) Field Marshal in the Luftwaffe and at Nuremburg was tried for war crimes. Death sentence commuted due to ill health. A.L.S. ‘Albert’ 4pp., 4to. and 8vo., July 3, 1947. Kesselring writes to his wife Ling Kesselring from the Wolfsberg P.O.W. Camp 373. Roughly translated, in part: ‘…We are now in Mayberg. On the 7th and 8th of June we had to move again, because on the 21st of June things became quite serious…there were heavy attacks…the alarms almost continuous…The journey itself was exhausting…’, with more similar content.
