Good content A.L.S. ’Albert’ on his personal letterhead, 2pp. 8vo., Heidelberg, Oct. 11, 1966, to ‘Ord’, in part: ‘...We had a good month-vacation in the Dolomites. But here work obviously never ceases. NBC asked for a 3 minutes comment in a new Sunday-series… The new Germany… But [U.S. ambassador to the U.N.] George Ball (former Under-Secretary) – I know him from talks with USSBS [Unites States Strategic Bombing Survey]… and [Hugh] Trevor-Roper, the Oxford historian will have… a very lengthy television talk… for the historical archives of BBC [all sic]…’ He signs at the conclusion in blue ink. Shows a few folds throughout, with some very small chips at top left, else very good.
