(1891 - 1942) Nazi military engineer who supervised the building of the Autobahn, the Siegfried Wall and the chain of submarine bases on the coast of France. Died mysteriously in a plane crash. Fine and rare S.P., 4 x 5.75 in. b/w, a half-length seated pose in uniform before a map, boldly signed at bottom in black ink. Fine.
