(1876 - 1945) Anti-Semitic Gauleiter of Eastern Hannover from 1925 to 1945, founded the weekly Nazi newspaper Niedersachsen-Sturmer, and often gave speeches against Jews, Freemasons and Communists. Later elected to the Reichstag. Committed suicide at war's end by slashing his wrists and ingesting poison shortly after his capture. His blue ink mounted signature on a slip applied beneath a 3.75 x 5 in. photograph. Clean, mended tear through first name, else fine condition.
