(1898-1971) Lieutenant general of the U.S. Marine Corps who served through World War II and the Korean War with great distinction. The most decorated Marine in American history with 37 years of service. Fine association signed hardcover copy of his biography: 'Marine! The Life of Chesty Puller' by Burke Davis (Boston: Little Brown and Co), 1962, 405pp. 8vo., outlining Puller's life and military career.
