An informal silver dinner fork owned and used by Adolf Hitler at non-official, private functions. The four tine fork measures 8.5 in. long and bears his 'A H' 'Berghof pattern' engraved initials at the end of the handle. Hallmarked by noted silversmiths Wellner. Identical in every respect to a piece we sold last year but with copies of letters of provenance pointing to origin from a G.I. at Berchtesgaden and probably from the same grouping. Very good. This piece likely originated from one of the many such sets of silverware gifted to Hitler during his rise to power.
