An informal sterling silver dinner fork once owned by Adolf's Hitler's wife, Eva Braun. The ornate 7.5 in. four tine fork has an attractive floral and filigree design, along with Braun's period-engraved 'butterfly'-style 'E B' monogram at the bottom which had been designed for her by Albert Speer. Hallmarked on the reverse but illegible, with '800' purity stamp. Tarnished, else very good condition. As was the case with her future husband, Braun was gifted many sets of silverware over the period of their relationship. With copies of letters of provenance pointing to origin from a G.I. at Berchtesgaden.
