(1881-1967) Pioneering French aviator. Signature on the verso of a postcard showing ‘Aviation Pioneers’ in 1910 with a bi-plane, canceled Reims, June 9, 1960. WITH: two telegrams, one sent from ‘Le Matin’ August 7, 1910, and the second from ‘Daily Mail’, both regarding Aubrun’s success in being the first to making a 610 km. trip. Together with an A.L.S. in the hand of Aubrun’s wife, sending news and letting her recipient know that she is writing for Aubrun, who is suffering from rheumatism in both hands. Four items. Also included is a postcard purported to be in Aubrun's late hand, but we cannot confirm. Please view images.
