Pre-Ming Khitan Script Buddhist Woodblock, length 40cm, width 25cm. A Liao or Jin Dynasty Buddhist printing block for Khitan script sutras. Cast in bronze with obvious patina and verdigris. Crafted with relief and line engraving; the central panel bears Khitan script sutras, surrounded by Buddha images and auspicious clouds, with exquisite craftsmanship and clear characters. Liao or Jin Dynasty (pre-Ming). A core artifact for researching Liao Khitan script and Buddhist culture, important for researching ancient ethnic scripts and printing technology.
