LOT of handmade cloth rag dolls that appear to have been made for the tourist market. Many are marked. (3) 6" - 7" Child dolls with painted features have wool hair. They have ribbons that read: "Hon'y Chile" Souvenir of Nashville & Lookout Mtn. 5 1/2" Doll with embroidered features marked "Aunt Chloe", Charleston, S.C. 10" Unmarked male with painted features is wearing LEE coveralls. A larger 14" "Mammy" doll with grey wool hair and expressive embroidered features appears to be from the 1930's. The (1) doll with wooden head and body is marked New Orleans, LA. With painted features, she has a cotton boll on her head. Condition: age discoloration. This is an interesting lot. It is being sold AS IS.
