Krieger French Ormolu Marble Top Bombe Commode

Description

French Krieger antique bombe form commode dresser with a shaped case and serpentine front surmounted by a Calacatta Viola Monet type marble top and mounted with ormolu decoration. Krieger mark see picture. The marquetry veneered case is fitted with two long drawers. Ormolu mounts include figural busts, scrolling foliate elements, and putti in relief across the drawer fronts and sides, terminating in mounted cabriole legs. Provenance South American collection.

Dimensions: 37.5 X 60 X 23 in.
