Fine example of a 19th Early Century Southern walnut chest of drawers, featuring a dovetailed gallery top with molded front edge and paneled sides of pinned construction. The case is fitted with inlaid key escutcheons and arranged in a two-over-three configuration of graduated drawers with scratch beading. Raised on bracket feet with a shaped apron; poplar secondary woods. Measures approximately 46 1/2" H x 44" W x 18 1/2" D. Good condition with light wear to the finish consistent with age and use.
