Description

North Carolina studio pottery covered jar with traditional rounded form and fitted lid, finished in a soft green runny glaze over a brown ground. The vessel displays a graceful curving profile with balanced proportions typical of functional Southern studio pottery. Signed “Gardiner” to the base with an incised signature. Measures approximately 8″ H x 4 1/2″ diameter. Good condition.
