A two-piece narrative sculpture in the form of a teapot with a fitted base, featuring a stylized reclining female nude figure seated atop the teapot’s lid. The work exhibits a hand-molded quality and is finished in a matte blue glaze. Signed “Theo” on the underside of both pieces. Theodora “Theo” Sable was a New York artist and designer who combined creativity with business vision; after teaching at Fordham University, she launched her jewelry design business in 1976 and exhibited in the Young Designers Room by 1978. Known for realistic, story-driven designs, she became recognized as a leading designer of her time. Measures approximately 9'' H x 6'' W x 7'' D, Good condition with light wear to surface.
