Left side of the slide is marked with Colt's 2-line mfg. and patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo, with "COLT AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS" marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a polished blue finish overall, save for on the chamber area of the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood grips. Half-moon blade front sight with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Slide matches the frame via the full S# (on the interior). MAGS: 1 dual-tone 7-rd, and 1 unmarked blued 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory box containing a wax paper disassembly & parts list guide and a later production "Handling the Handgun" pamphlet. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, showing some light to mild edge wear, scattered light superficial handling marks, as well as some pinprick spots of light surface oxidation/pitting. Bore exhibits streaks of consistent mild pitting along the edges of the lands, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some light smoothing, but otherwise remain sound. Box shows exterior wear with losses to the exterior of edges, as well as tearing to the lid, but otherwise remains sound. (25-5369/MLW).
