COMICAL SOVIET PROPAGANDA POSTER AGAINST WASTE. Comprising a comical propaganda poster criticizing wasteful spending, depicting a beachside conference where a speaker in a swimsuit at a podium speaks under a banner reading, "Regional Conference for Developing the Forest Tundra." There is a picture of a polar bear and a reindeer tethered in front of him, the crowd around him relaxing in the sunny weather, many with winter boots nearby. Caption, lower center, reads, "They are willing to discuss snowfalls or storms and write reports about icebergs so that they can vacation on the heavenly seashore in the South at the expense of the government, not their own." Poster 16.5 x 22.5 inches (41.9 x 57.2cm), overall including attractive exhibition frame glazed with plexiglass, 19 x 25 inches (48.3 x 63.5cm).
