ca. 1800, 97 x 51 cm, South Sweden, Skane, Albo District

The face of an orange-ground seat cushion woven in the rollakan technique. Two large eight-pointed stars take up the full length of the field, accompanied by six cruciform blossoms and eight stepped polygons. Avery narrow, dark blue border of S-forms. Two finely patterned brocaded stripes adorn each end.
