A Yomut bag face presenting nine primary guls and straight-armed cruciform secondary guls, butterfly motifs in the white main border and undecorated elems. Velvety wool, vibrant colours. In order to appreciate its outstanding quality, it is necessary to view and handle the chuval in person. Purchased by the collector from Ulrich Schurmann, Cologne, in 1975.
Condition
Pile in very good condition. Cut sides, replaced selvedges. No kilim back.
