C. 1900. A neat carpet stretcher cane made of beech wood with an iron handle, on the side of the handle is the patent date, Dec, 11 1900. A lever beneath the grip causes a toothed hinge on the bottom to close. This device is used to grip and pull a carpet into the proper size to fit a given floor. Some rusting to the metal, rubbing to the wooden shaft. Scratching and small to amounts of rubbing to the body of the cane. 38" Length. Condition: (Excellent). Dimensions: 38" Length.
