A manilla folder; typed information on cover reads "Norma Jean Dougherty / 20th Century-Fox Film Corporation" and in the upper right corner "Helena Sorell / Dramatic Coach," inside are ten loose leaf pages of typed instructions relating to the craft of acting, such as breathing drills and pronunciation primers; Marilyn penciled some brief notes on the first page reading in full "9:45 / week / tues / take 5:00 / call if can't make it"; please note both the folder and inside notes are in extremely poor condition with evident water damage; also included is a script noting a date of "1946" and titled "Talk in Darkness" which was found in Marilyn's files along with these early acting notes.
