US Model 1863 Springfield Rifled Musket

Description

.58-caliber, NSN, walnut stock with light cartouche marks on the left side, steel fittings, lock marked "1864" on the tail, marked in front of the hammer with an eagle and "U.S./SPRINGFIELD", breech marked "V/P" over and eagle head, with a rear sight, and a tulip-shaped ramrod.

Stock has a few dings and nicks, breech has some pitting as does the bolster, the lock functions properly, the bore is fair, the ramrod threaded end is cut as a ball puller, in overall good condition.
