An original production script for Revolution (Warner Bros., 1985), signed by Al Pacino, who starred in the film as frontiersman Tom Dobb.
The script is housed in blue paper script wrappers, fastened with two unusual metal brads. Attributed to screenwriter Robert Dillon, the script is dated to April 3, 1985 and labelled as a sixth draft. Pacino signed the title page in black marker.
The screenplay comes from the collection of journalist (and friend of Pacino's) Larry Grobel, who writes, "Pacino invited me to Devon, England while he was making this film. There were high hopes for it, but I think I had more fun checking out the countryside than Al did trekking through mud and recreating the American Revolution on English soil. For years, he wanted to re-release the film with an added narration, but it probably wouldn?t have helped that much."
