PRESSED CAVALIER POMADE JAR, translucent starch blue, embossed "E. T. S & Co / NY" under base, crown of hat and plum form cover. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1865-1868, when perfumer Edward T. Smith was in business. 3 7/8" HOA.

Condition
Well above average condition, with the jar having scattered chipping and roughness to the exterior rim and a flake with associated bruise to the interior rim; cover with scattered chipping/roughness to the rim and inner flange.
