Description
PRESSED CHAINED BEAR MEDIUM-SIZE JAR, alabaster/clambroth, cover having a pink tint and lightly sanded surface, embossed "X. BAZIN / PHILA" under base. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1850-1870. 4 1/2" HOA, 1 5/8" D rim.

Condition
Good condition overall, with the cover having moderate chipping/flaking to the rim and inner flange, a 5/8" LOA spall across the top of one ear, and a minor flake and associated bruise to one cheek; base having significant flaking to the rim and a spall across the claws of one foot.
