Description
PRESSED MUZZLED BEAR LARGE-SIZE JAR, opaque black deep amethyst, embossed "R & G . A . WRIGHT / PHILADA." to the underside of the base. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1850-1887. 5 1/8" HOA, 1 7/8" D rim.

Condition
Above average condition, with the cover having a large spall and a minor chip to the underside of the chin, a flake to the muzzle by the mouth, a spall to the tip of one ear, a spall with associated bruise above one eye, and heavy chipping/flaking to the rim and inner flange; base having heavy chipping/flaking to the rim, roughness to the base edge, and two minor spalls to the underside of the feet.
