PRESSED CHAINED BEAR MEDIUM-SIZE JAR, opaque black, embossed "X. BAZIN / PHILA" under base. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1850-1870. 4 3/4" HOA, 1 5/8" D rim.

Condition
Well above average condition, with the base having roughness to the interior rim with moderate flaking to the exterior rim; cover having flaking/spalling to the rim and chipping to the inner flange with minor flaking to one ear and a nick to the other.
