PRESSED CHAINED BEAR LARGE-SIZE JAR, opaque black, embossed "X. BAZIN / PHILIA" under base. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1850-1870. 5 3/4" HOA, 1 3/4" D rim.

Condition
Average condition, with the base having heavy chipping to the rim and three nicks to the underside; cover with a significant chip causing a loss to the bear's nose and mouth with flaking to the rim and inner flange; otherwise, undamaged.
