Good association A.L.S., 2pp. 4to., [n.d.], Danville, KY, to President James A. Garfield, a letter of recommendation for a W. N. Randall for the position of U.S. Marshal from Kentucky. Fry signs boldly at the conclusion in black ink. Expertly inlaid, shows original mailing folds and minor soiling to the verso, otherwise in very good to fine overall condition.
