Sen frontko emne menen zhardam kyldyn [What Did You Do to Help the Front?], a Kyrgyz language poster by Dmitry Moor (Dmitry Orlov, 1883-1946, Meritorious Art Worker of the RSFSR). Published by Kirgizgosizdat, Frunze, 1941, 1941. 90.5 x 62.5 cm.

A scarce regional version of Moor’s poster from the early days of the war. Pressed for time, the artist fell back on his own highly successful work of the Civil War period (Have You Volunteered, 1920). Interestingly, we have seen this poster in several slightly different sizes, suggesting several print runs from different plates sent from Moscow.
