Six Civil War era items, to include a miniature ambrotype of of an unidentified soldier in embossed leather case, a Massachusetts Volunteer Militia button, one 25 cent note, a small envelope titled, "Through Richmond", and two cabinet photos. The first cabinet photograph is identified as William H. Pittee, a Plymouth, MA resident who served as a Private in Co. E, 29th Regt. M.V.M. The second photograph is an image of Major General Nelson Appleton Miles (1839-1925), who served in the American Civil War, Indian Wars, and Spanish-American War.
