The attractive vellum partially printed document being a title given by Napoleon III, as Emperor of the French, to Pierre Paul Casanova, appointing him Knight of the Legion D´Honneur Imperial Order. The document bears an attractive and rich heading and borders with coat of arms. Countersigned by the Grand Chancelor of the Legion D´Honneur Imperial Order Marshal Pelissier, and by the General Secretary of the Order.
