An 18ct gold Thai ruby and diamond cluster ring. The circular-shape ruby, weighing 0.87ct, with brilliant-cut diamond scalloped surround. With report 77112-02, dated 13th July 2017, from GCS stating Thailand, no heat. Estimated total diamond weight 0.90ct. Import marks for London, 1976. Ring size L1/2. Weight 3.3gms.

Condition

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/ wear, in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band with some abrasion.

  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Some diamonds with dark eye visible inlcusions, one diamond with fracture visible under the table facet.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Ruby is a bright vivid red, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Ruby is in good condition with some surface abrasion, one chip to table facet.

  • Stamped 750.
  • Length of ring head 1.2cms.
