A GROUP OF TWO CONTINENTAL GILT AND ENAMEL DECORATED PORCELAIN BOXES, 20TH CENTURY, comprising a cobalt blue glazed rectangular lidded box with canted corners, the domed lid with a transfer printed image of a courting couple in a woodland landscape with onlooking dog and lamb, signed in the plate "F. Boucher, 1759,' with raised gilt acanthus scroll and floral blossoms along the edge, the top and base joined by a silvered metal beaded border hinged frame, the front, sides, and back of the base with transfer printed floral decoration with matching gilt decoration, the interior with matching floral decoration, with faux R.S. Prussia mark in red on the bottom, height: 5 1/8", width: 10 1/2", depth: 6 3/8"; and a Royal Vienna style cobalt blue glazed egg shape covered box with a transfer printed image of a female artist on the domed top framed by a raised gilt laurel leaf band with a ribbon bow and floral pendant, and addorsed scrolls with floral highlights at the edge, the base with a matching laurel leaf band, the bottom with "bildenshield" mark in blue and "67/10266 5/6/66" in green, height: 5 3/4", width: 8 1/8", depth: 5 5/8".
Both boxes in overall good condition with minor rubbing and loss to gilt decoration, no evidence of chips, nicks, or cracks to the porclain.
