4 ¼”h., x 7 ½” h., Blue & colorless, non lead bottle glass, peanut shaped body with applied medial thread that is twisted, brilliant clear blue hear and four legs, back end of flask has a superimposed gather of glass pulled into nine type 1 lily pads or swags, open neck or tail is decorated with a thin gather of pale blue glass most of which is gone leaving remnants of the original gather; America or Germany, c. 1750-1790, excellent overall condition; there is a similar example in amber now in a private collection , that was found in Clayton NJ, down the street from Glassboro. The bottle had old tags stating it was made in the 1790’s in Glassboro, also in a German collection of Schnappshunds , a similar, almost identical example with lily pads was attributed to New Jersey .
